Busker Fest is here again! Performers from all over the world come to our city for this festival every year, and it is always a huge hit!
We headed downtown to check out the action and enjoy the gorgeous weather!
(And of course, hit up our favourite record shop in China Town as well!)
The first musician we saw was far and away our favourite act. He combined his didgeridoo with electronic music and heavy bass for an incredibly unique sound.
We wandered down to the waterfront to check out the market stalls.
There were quite a few living statues - We saw three alone while we were there.
Kyle joins in a crowd to watch a busker's act.
This guy's comedy act was pretty funny. Here he tries to pop a balloon with a huge fork on his helmet while jumping on a pogo stick.... Well, it was funnier than it sounds, anyway.
Kyle decided which picture from this local artist he wants to take home. (He ended up choosing the one his head is blocking.)
We settled on the grass at the Empress Hotel to watch this act. Three girls from Montreal put on an acrobatic show with a fire element. They tried to get a lot of audience participation as well, which was cool.
As it got late, we headed to the Keg for a romantic dinner to round out the awesome day.
