We embarked on the long drive home from Ucluelet, and were surprised at the amount of snow that was still in the mountains!
We stopped at a rest stop where the snow banks were almost as tall as the buildings.
Keora loved the snow and kept rolling around in it!
We stopped at this rest stop 7 years ago when we went to Tofino together for the first time. Kyle swam in this mountain stream then, and seriously thought about hopping in this time around before begrudgingly deciding not to.
I climbed up too to check out the view!
And sunk into the snow on my way down.
Though I felt better knowing I wasn't the only one!
We head back out on the road and after a few hours stopped to stretch our legs at Cathedral Grove in MacMillan Provincial Park.
Most of the trees in this park are hundreds of years old.
And humongous!
This one is the largest in the park.
(Our blog is becoming very educational, isn't it?)
The streams were gorgeously clear.
Posing with a huge uprooted tree before hopping back in the car and heading home.
