Mother's Day

Ty's 2nd Birthday Party

We all got together this weekend to celebrate Ty's upcoming second birthday. This is the birthday boy showing off the new hat his Nanny made for him, while waiting for his turn to ride the horses.

Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve

We spent one of our three days in Monteverde at the Cloud Forest Biological Reserve. This park, high in the mountains, is a huge, lush rainforest - Parts of which have such a high elevation that the trees (and some of the trails) are surrounded in cloud.

One part of the trail led to the Continental Divide.

We spent a lot of time on this suspension bridge, taking in the view.

Times Colonist 10k Run

Today Kyle and Todd participated in the annual Times Colonist 10k Run. Kim, Cara, their boys and I went downtown to watch the action and to cheer them on!

We caught up with guys at the 7km point of the route. Kyle ran the whole 10k without stopping, and finished in 59 minutes and 19 seconds!

Evelyn Aurora Washbrook was born Sunday, May 1st weighing 7lbs, 14oz.
