Tria's First Birthday Party

We spent Sunday with good friends and cute kids, celebrating little Tria's first birthday.

The birthday girl gets a lift from her Dad.

Kyle and I met Mike and Cajsa's little girl, Nataya.  She is 2.5 weeks old.

No cake at this party - Instead there was birthday PIE!  (And yes, I had four slices.)

Kyle had fun playing with the kids.

Monster Bash Halloween Party

Kyle and I were Finn the Human and Princess Bubblegum from Adventure Time!

The kids all gathered around listening to Kyle play his ukulele.

The end of a Twister tournament - Kyle narrowly beat out Jen to claim the championship!

Bake Sales for PECSF

In my office, October is annually a month of fundraising for PECSF - the Provincial Employees Community Services Fund. We raise money throughout our organization and PECSF distributes it to various local charities. 

I have volunteered to participate in a couple of bake sales! 

The Ninja Bread Men were a big hit last week...

... and the sugar cookie Ghosts and Pumpkins will be on sale tomorrow!

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving with the Dunlops, celebrating the holiday and Kimberly's birthday.

The weather was so nice, we spent a long time playing outside before dinner.

Tria really enjoyed being pushed around on the scooter!

And Ty loved riding his bike around the driveway as Kyle chased him on a skateboard.

 

 

 

She's such a smiley girl!

Ty was very excited to be using a "big, special cup" during dinner - He was very careful.

And the boys help with washing up afterwards! Lovely! 

We are so lucky to be able to spend another Thanksgiving with great friends!

New Friends

I spent some time today getting to know my friend Megen's new little guy, Fraser.  

Megen and I are co-Office Managers at work, so I spent a lot of time feeling his kicks and talking to him before he was born - Mainly asking him to let his Mom get all the way to her due date, and not have to leave work early! He must have listened to me, because he decided to arrive on the exact day I chose in her baby pool!
